TESTIMONIALS

After just one session, I was able to touch the floor with my fingers while standing on straight legs —something I hadn’t been able to do for 15 years. I went to Vera in April 2024 after years of recurring back pain (not caused by a herniated disc), on the
recommendation of relatives. After a short assessment, she worked on and stretched several muscle groups. The change was immediate. Since then, I can bend forward freely again, sleep on my stomach, and I’ve returned to playing football. I now visit her every one or two months, mostly for maintenance massage, but she has also helped me with sports-related issues. I wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone who wants to improve their quality of life.

After every session with Vera, I leave feeling noticeably better — lighter, more relaxed, and with less pain. I mainly go to her for massages, and what I appreciate most is that she always listens carefully before starting. We communicate throughout the treatment, and she constantly adapts what she’s doing based on feedback. I’ve gone to her with all kinds of issues — knee pain, neck tension, menstrual discomfort, “mouse arm,” general fatigue — and she always finds a solution. Sometimes she gives small “homework” exercises or even sends videos to help with recovery. She is very thorough, and her calm, supportive presence means a lot to me.

The sessions I had with Vera felt like a complete physical and mental reset. I went to her for massage and spine-strengthening training. She asked many questions, paid close attention to my condition, and then created exercises specifically tailored to my needs. Her calm, friendly presence combined with real professional knowledge made the time I spent with her feel genuinely renewing. I can only recommend her.

Pain in my hand caused by constant mouse use disappeared after just one session — and it hasn’t returned since. Vera helped me understand the possible causes and suggested small but practical changes I could make in everyday life. Earlier, she did the same for my knee: simple adjustments, targeted exercises, and clear guidance that actually worked long-term. I really appreciate how practical and effective her approach is.

Since working with Vera, I’ve noticed clear improvements in both my physical condition and my overall wellbeing. I originally sought her help to improve my fitness and to treat a hernia caused by a caesarean section. From the very first session, her kind, smiling personality made me feel comfortable and confident. Combined with her expertise, you immediately feel you’re in good hands. I highly recommend her.

Vera supported my postnatal recovery with personalized exercises that made a real difference. She also helped me resolve tendonitis in my wrist, and even gave my husband posture-improving exercises. What stands out most is how attentive and present she is — she truly listens. Her work is characterized by professionalism, kindness, and genuine care. I wholeheartedly recommend her.

THERAPIES & METHODS

Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Treatment (IASTT)

Manual treatments can be effectively supported by a range of therapeutic tools. These methods are used to enhance the effects of hands-on work, especially when treating larger body areas, deeper tissue layers, or when results need to be maintained between sessions. Depending on the condition and the treated area, cupping, flossing, kinesio taping, or metal fascia-treatment instruments may be applied as part of the therapy.

Cupping
Cupping is a form of vacuum therapy. During treatment, the skin is gently lifted away from the underlying connective tissue. This improves local circulation, supports the removal of metabolic waste products, and enhances nutrient delivery to the area. In this way, cupping creates favourable conditions for tissue regeneration and recovery.

Flossing
Flossing is a compression-based therapy. The area being treated is wrapped tightly with a special elastic band, followed by guided mobilizing movements. Once the band is removed, blood flow returns to the area with increased intensity. This process supports regeneration and helps release pathological tissue adhesions.

Kinesio taping
Kinesio taping is a supportive technique used to maintain and extend the effects of treatment. The tapes I use are made of elastic cotton, contain no active ingredients, and adhere to the skin with acrylic adhesive. Depending on the application technique, they can be used for muscle relaxation, pain relief, improved circulation, joint correction, or joint support. When applied to properly cleaned and degreased skin using the appropriate method, the tape can remain in place for 5–7 days and is moderately resistant to water and sweat.

Manual therapies

The term manual therapies refers to treatments performed using the hands to work directly on connective tissues. These sessions may include massage techniques, pressure applied to specific points, as well as joint traction or compression, depending on the treated area and the client’s condition. During treatment, methods from the Fascial Distortion Model (FDM), Anatomy Trains, and traditional massage therapy are combined. Fascial Distortion Model (FDM)

FDM is a highly effective and rapidly evolving approach to pain management. It is based on the client’s pain communication — how the pain is described, where it is located, and how it feels. From this information, the underlying fascial distortion is identified and treated directly.

Anatomy Trains approaches anatomy through myofascial chains rather than isolated muscles, bones, or ligaments. When a problem appears in one area, surrounding regions are also assessed — including previous injuries, scar tissue, and joint mobility — to understand how tension patterns affect the body as a whole. By combining the symptom-focused precision of FDM with the root-cause approach of Anatomy Trains, fast and long-lasting results can be achieved.

EXERCISE THERAPY

The positive effects of movement on musculoskeletal — and often even internal medicine-related — complaints are well established. Exercise therapy is used to support recovery, improve strength, and restore balanced, functional movement.

During sessions, I combine elements of traditional physiotherapy with exercises inspired by yoga, Pilates, and fascia training. This approach helps improve muscular strength, correct imbalances, and support coordinated, efficient movement.

Individually optimizing joint range of motion, identifying and reducing left–right asymmetries, and reactivating muscles that have been underused due to previous injuries are all essential steps toward achieving pain-free movement in everyday life.
